GSX Chicago 2019 Recap -  Security and Safety Things

Global Security Exchange (better known as GSX) is an international security event that brings the full spectrum of the security industry together in Chicago, USA. This was a special occasion for Security and Safety Things as it was our first time at the trade show (and what a show it was!).

Our first major appearance this year was ISC West in Las Vegas in April, where we showcased four app developer partners in a football stadium themed booth (read the full Recap here). At that time, only five months ago, we had 4 development partners and 5 camera manufactures.

The progress is clear as we have not just maintained the current status but created new opportunities along the way. Furthermore, at GSX we proudly showcased 12 development partners and 7 camera manufactures. A positive trend which internal and external stakeholders are capitalizing on.

Booth Design & Concept

The booth core team who planned and executed the booth arrived a few days earlier to Chicago to construct the booth near the South entrance of the main hall.

As all events, the week starts early and the set up begins! It’s always fascinating how much a trade show floor changes from construction to end result, and we were more than pleased with it. Airport themed booth is ready for takeoff!

SAST final booth

When we exhibited at ISC West we went with a very different theme for our booth, and our new challenge would be making a seamless transition between a football stadium and an airport. However, with the team of experts we have in our company we were able to make the impossible possible with even more applications running on our touch screens situated throughout the booth. In a smaller space we even managed a bigger output thanks to our manufacturer and app development partners whom of which made this show such a great success for us. (Just imagine what we could do for ISC West 2020 – stay informed!)

Regarding the booth design, we have only heard positive remarks, therefore, we strive to continue this savy style in the coming events. Check out our events page to see where we’ll be next!
